Comments:

I was not getting any support at home... my mom thinks trying to work on health and fitness means you are "Obsessed" with your weight, my sister thinks if you work out you can eat whatever you like and my boyfriend calls to tell me hes eating my favorite treats! Luckily I have enlisted a friend to be my support on this journey. Its just no fun to do it alone!

Goal: make them all jealous when we are sunbathing in 2 months.

DIY Day

November is here! Does this mean I can officaly get excited for Christmas?! This year I am DIY'ing some of the gifts I am giving. Including this set of home-made coasters:

To make these you need:

4x4 ceramic tiles
Modge Podge (I used glossy)
Foam brush
Clear Acrylic Sealer
Scrap book paper or photo of your choice

Cut the image to just slightly smaller than your tile. Coat the tile in modge podge. Center the image on the tile and let dry. Add about 3 layers of modge podge on top (1 at a time allowing time for drying in between coats ~30min). Finish with a coat of clear acrylic sealer (not necessary but, makes them more durable).

Easy, useful, Inexpesnive, and looks great!

Starting PINK

I will be starting PINK tomorrow!

A friend of mine used the PINK method to loose some weight (along with some other less appealing crash diets) and she has lost over 40lbs!

One thing that stood out to me about PINK was that it is simply healthy eating and exercise. Now of course you don't need to pay a lot of money to learn how to do this but, I liked the idea of having a set meal plan and the work out videos for days when I can't make it to the gym.

I have tried this program in the past... and it let me tell you, it works. Unfortunatly, I had a hard time staying motivated and "fell off the ladder".

Looking back, I realize how much stronger I was, how much more energy I had and overall the progress I was making... I want to do that for myself again.
